Flame-Cut Steel Bearing Housings ... ...  

We will often be asked to re-produce a bearing housing in steel when the old housing is obsolete.  This can make big savings for the customer.  This picture (left), shows a split flame-cut steel bearing housing for a German customer.  Essentially, the housing is made from a block of steel and we very carefully machine the inner bearing bores from solid.  We solve the customers problem - and also supply a housing stronger than anything supplied before.

Large Cast Iron Bearing Housings ... ...  

When the big bearing companies of the world couldn't help,  Bri-Mac received a valued order for 2 off Cast Iron Bearing Housings to suit bearing: 230/500 K.  With special labyrinth seals both sides, and a casting weighing of 1000 kg, Bri-Mac shipped these bearing housings to Germany to a very happy customer. 

"Yet again, a customer could locate the bearing - but the bearing housing proved more difficult.  We produced fully machined castings in a time scale no other company could match.  "We also hope to win the next order for 10 pieces", added a delighted Gail McCairn, Bri-Mac Export Sales.

A call from a customer in Belgium resulted in an order for 2 off special cast iron bearing housings weighing 745 kg each.  The customer had a non-standard bearing - but no bearing housing to suit,  "We managed to produce bearing housings from our standard range, and machine it special to suit a special sized bearing" commented Matt Darby - Bri-Mac export production.

Cast Steel Bearing Housings - Any Size ...

This bearing housing was manufactured to suit bearing: 22228.  One piece unit to suit extreme conditions.  We were delighted to assist a French customer who couldn't locate these on a short delivery.  We manufactured pattern equipment, castings and complete machining without a problem.
